About this Project
At the world headquarters of Barr Laboratories Inc. in Montvale, NJ, a stunning glazed structure designed and built by Crystal Structures serves as the cafeteria and employee break area. This sunny solarium looks out over a park-like acre, providing staff with a pleasant space for breaks, lunch, and meetings.
The impressive solarium spans over 45 feet across, with 14 glass bays, and projects nearly 30 feet from the main building, exiting into the outside park area. Crystal Structures’ innovative design features built-in accessory tracks that allow lighting to be hung at any place along the framework without drilling extra holes.

To regulate the room temperature and natural daylight, the solarium is equipped with Comfort Glide shades. The expertly crafted structure by Crystal Structures not only enhances the architectural appeal of the Barr Laboratories facility but also provides employees with a comfortable and inviting space to relax and recharge during their workday.
