About this Project
The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Biloxi, Mississippi is a state-of-the-art 52,000 square foot community center that has achieved LEED Silver sustainability certification. A key contributor to this certification were the 41 unit skylights installed across the roof of the facility by Crystal Structures.
Over 20 of these skylights, ranging in size from 7’ x 3’ to 12.6’ x 7.6’, allow ample natural light into the aquatic center’s indoor water park. The rest are positioned above the entry hall and walkways. By leveraging daylight, the skylights reduce the Center’s energy consumption for lighting and HVAC.
The Kroc Center skylights are just one example of Crystal Structures’ dedication to creating sustainable building solutions. Their products meet the highest standards for efficiency and quality. As seen in Biloxi, integrating Crystal Structures skylights leads to more eco-friendly, LEED certifiable buildings.
