About this Project
Crystal Structures was pleased to contribute to an addition at the Mount Vernon Veterans Home in Missouri with a gabled solarium structure. The glazed solarium added a sun-filled 24′ x 31′ space adjacent to the dining room of the 200-resident home established in 1983 to serve honorably discharged veterans.
The motorized sunshade system on the solarium allows adjustment of sunlight exposure, while the Low-E glazing helps cut harmful UV rays. The energy-efficient glazing also provides a favorable balance of solar heat gain to heat loss. This gabled glass structure gives veterans a beautiful space to gather, visit, and enjoy views of nature and sunshine.
As specialists in glazed structures, Crystal Structures brought sunlight into the Mount Vernon Veterans Home with an accessible, weather-protected solarium addition. The company offers similar gabled solarium solutions for residential and commercial needs, with customization available. Please contact Crystal Structures to learn more about their glazed structures.
