About this Project
When Morehead Capital, a boutique investment firm based in Raleigh NC, was looking to expand into a new 16,000 sq ft warehouse space, they turned to skylights and clerestory windows to transform the interior into a bright, modern office. Crystal Structures worked with the company’s architects to design and install 130 feet of clerestory windows attached to skylights that span the length of the building.
The extensive use of skylights and clerestory windows floods the interior with natural daylight, creating a pleasant and productive work environment for employees of the business, now known as Investors Management Croporation. The abundant natural light reduces the need for artificial lighting during the day, lowering energy costs and promoting sustainability.

The partially open office concept, enabled by the daylight-filled space, encourages collaboration and communication among team members.
Crystal Structures’ expertise in sloped glazing systems was instrumental in the successful transformation of the warehouse into a modern, daylight-filled office space. The company is proud to have been a part of this project and is thrilled with the end result, which showcases the power of skylights and clerestory windows in creating a bright, inviting, and efficient work environment. View the photos below and contact Crystal Structures for your next sloped glazing project to harness the benefits of daylighting in your office space.
