About this Project
When Missouri veterans require long-term skilled nursing care, they can rely on the exceptional services provided at the Missouri Veterans Homes. The standout St. Louis facility recently unveiled a stunning new conservatory addition designed by Crystal Structures.
Serving as both a spacious day room and sunny cafeteria, this glazed structure measures an impressive 25’ x 35’. Conveniently located near the main entrance, the conservatory greets residents and visitors with charm.
The advantages of the custom conservatory design for seniors are numerous, including:
- Enhanced quality of sleep
- Increased brain stimulation
- Promotion of vitamin D production
- Overall health improvements
To ensure complete functionality, Crystal Structures outfitted the space with energy- efficient dual-pane Low E glass. This glazing prevents unwanted heat loss in winter and excessive heat gain in summer. For ideal comfort, Comfort Glide Shades were also installed to regulate daylight and temperature as needed.
The Missouri Veterans Home partnered with the experts at Crystal Structures to provide an exceptional, modern amenity for their deserving residents. This conservatory will enable veterans to enjoy community, light, and fresh air for years to come.
