About this Project
Bethel College unveiled its new Lattner Conservatory, featuring a custom greenhouse from Crystal Structures, the commercial division of Sunshine Rooms, Inc. The greenhouse allows students to conduct hands-on botany, ecology, and environmental science projects right on campus.
Crystal Structures implemented their GrowTech© Greenhouse line to meet Bethel College’s needs. As an “architectural grade classroom greenhouse,” it seamlessly matches the aesthetics of the adjoining Lattner Conservatory building while meeting modern building codes.

The GrowTech© line has many unique features tailored for an academic setting. Students appreciate the climate-control system that allows for experiments on the effects of various environmental changes. The high-grade glass and structural reinforcements allow for decades of intensive use. There is ample space for individual and group projects in plant biology, ecology, taxonomy, and more.
The new greenhouse will enrich Bethel College’s science curriculum for generations to come. Crystal Structures translated the school’s vision into reality with their trademark excellence in commercial greenhouse construction.
